Understand quality
Container condition grades
Signs of use are normal. What matters is the technical and visual quality your application requires.
One-trip / near-new
These containers have generally completed only one loaded journey. Light transport or handling marks are possible, while the overall appearance is usually very good.
WWT – wind and watertight
WWT describes a used unit assessed for dry storage. Dents, rust and paint marks may be present; doors, roof, walls and floor must suit the intended use.
Cargo worthy, CSC and IICL
Cargo worthy describes a condition that can be assessed for freight use. CSC status must be checked separately on the product. IICL is a technical repair and inspection reference, not a substitute for project review.
Document before buying
Ask for current images, door operation, floor, weather-tightness, colour, depot and available certificates. The specific description and agreement are decisive.
